I am the proverbial kid who couldn't decide what he wanted to be when he grew up. I've worked in electronics, software, bookselling, tea, and even ran a wildlife sanctuary. No matter where I worked, though, I wrote.
I've written 29 books on subjects ranging from animal poop to history to accessibility technology for deaf people, and written hundreds of freelance articles for magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, anthologies, and websites. I write fiction, nonfiction, and children's books. Some of my writing hasn't sold well at all. I have a couple of books that haven't even hit 1,000 copies. A few have done quite well, selling over 100,000 copies.
My lack of a single focused audience or subject matter makes me an agent's nightmare.
(Yes, I do have ADHD. Why do you ask?)
