My full time gig is Head of UX, Cloud Services for Canonical (those guys that make Ubuntu).
The rest of the time I'm Literary Editor at the SCI-FI-LONDON.com website and deal with all the book stuff, anything to do with publishing or the written word and I also run the panels, workshops and filmmaking events for the SCI-FI-LONDON Film Festival (1-7 May 2012).
I like to write - screenplays mostly but also some short fiction - I'm a terrible lapsed blogger having started and shut down 3 or 4 different sites over the last few years but I'm contemplating doing more at justplot.com.
I'm on the jury for the Arthur C Clarke Award for Science Fiction Literature, probably the highest honour currently bestowed in the UK for genre writing and I'm in the middle of writing my own book entitled "How To Write The Science Fiction Film" for Michael Weise Publishing which should be available to buy in early 2013.
I'm a technology nut, I love my gadgets but I also love being surprised at the new things we can do with technology every day and as you would expect I love films and TV - especially science fiction.
