Iliketowalk

I recently retired at age 75. I have been working on a novel using my adventures of ten years ago as recorded in my journals. I deplore how so many of today's writers of blogs, news articles TV shows, etc. do not seem to know simple usage such as the difference between "bring" and "take", "number" and "amount," "less" and "fewer." I can no more trust a Dietician who speaks of "healthy" food rather than "healthful" food than I would trust a Realtor who uses three syllables to pronounce the word "Realtor." And, since when has third person plural become an acceptable non generic first person singular? Since when am I permitted to start a sentence with a conjunction? I have been separated from my third wife for ten years. At my age, I'm not likely to obtain the type of companionship I crave unless I become rich from the publication of my book and I would then be able to pay for it. So, enough of this. Back to my novel.
