BY DAY: I'm an ex-IT engineer turned novelist and have studied creative writing at universities in The Netherlands, Australia, and the UK.

BY NIGHT: I'm obsessed with crafts, books (esp. on the craft of writing books!), audiobooks, films, and TV series (esp. good sci-fi).

FOR FUN: I love travel, wild hiking, snowboarding and scuba diving. I've lived in five different countries, dived with whale shark in the Galapagos, and to name just a few, I've hiked The South West Coast Path (630 miles from Minehead to Poole in one trip), The Overland and South Coast Track in Tasmania, and climbed Kilimanjaro where my husband proposed on the summit!

I also have an unhealthy obsession with my two American Cocker Spaniels who I love to distraction.
