Aug 27, 2022 at 9:48 comment added Amadeus @ProseFerret They are passive with their mother; not with anybody else. You need a contrast. Part of "voice" is how it is voiced; which is the 'action' I provided. But I will leave you to your exercise.

Also, I appreciate you think the character should be more passive, but I want a big bit of this character's development to be them switching away from being passive.
