An AI might do something like this in the same way, but humans can avoid it if they think about other people's cognition as well as the subject matter, and an AI might not even have the same default assumption in the 1st place, though whatever assumptions it did have might also be wrong. Also, I think comparing AIs to humans is dubious because there's no reason for AIs to have human emotions. | |
