If we define those in a more detailed way then they can offer guidance to new writers. Style & Voice for example could be write direct sentences that vary in length which relates to how sentences "sound" in the reader's head. That's a point of guidance that can get early writers to better writing possibly faster. | |

I can see that I've developed more of a personal style, techniques of using language and structure, and have developed into the writer I am today. And if someone claims to teach you how to write a bestseller in two weeks, beware. | |
