I can turn it off, but not limit it to specific pages. And it's not what I want for my specific needs at the moment. It is a great plugin for what it does though. The author is responsive and open to ideas.

If you want to set up an online writing community, there is a WordPress plug-in, which can turn a WP blog into one (I have to ask my webmaster the details), holler if you are interested. Happy Holidays.
